Newborn Photography Sessions
Celebrate your new baby with a custom newborn session designed just for you. We'll create a variety of classic, artistic images of your new baby while also capturing all of those tiny details that you'll look back on in a few months and wonder how in the world that tiny human ever fit into your belly!
Each package includes a limited number of high-resolution digital files that will be edited to perfection and delivered to you in a downloadable gallery. You will also receive both the color and black and white images of every selected image. Jen offers a wide variety of professionally printed wall art products along with prints and albums that are available for purchase.
Your session includes access to my extensive collection of newborn props, outfits, headbands, wraps, backdrops. Everything will be provided for you at the studio for your session and we will discuss and plan the session details in advance so you can sit back and relax when you arrive the day of.
Jen has worked with hundreds of babies throughout her nine year career as a photographer and has received training in newborn safety as well as extensive one-on-one training on how to safely pose your baby so they are relaxed and comfortable throughout the session. Newborn sessions are typically done in the first 7-21 days, however, older newborns (up to 3 months) have become a specialty and she is happy to accommodate an older newborn if you have missed that window.
Overall, the goal is to ensure that you have a seamless client experience from start to finish and are absolutely in love with your final images.

Booking
Newborn sessions take place at the Hello Photography studio located in Cedar Park, TX. Your session is customized to your desires and Jen is available to help every step of the way to provide an exceptional personal experience for every client. I will handle your baby as if they are my own while you are in my studio and have spent many hours mentoring with other professional newborn photographers to learn how to safely handle and pose newborn babies properly. I have over 8 years of experience working with newborns and have photographed hundreds of babies in my career!
When your baby arrives, you'll reach out to Jen and she will send a variety of session options to choose from, along with a session prep guide along with a session questionnaire where you will let her know your color what colors you want to incorporate in the session, any must-have props or poses you would like, and what background colors you want to use for your first family photos! Jen will provide everything for baby during the session and you will have access to her full collection of outfits, wraps, backdrops, and props for your session. All you need to bring is your baby's food source and Jen will take care of the rest!
It is never too early to book your newborn session and most families book their session before their third trimester. Newborn sessions are best captured in the first 7-21 days, however, Jen has worked with a lot of older newborns who have had some beautiful newborn sessions! Jen only reserves two spaces each week to accommodate her tiniest clients and offer a variety of session dates/times for you to choose from once your baby arrives.
This session is really dictated by your baby and can take anywhere from 2-4 hours. We'll take breaks as needed for diaper changes, snacks, and cuddles from mom or dad if necessary. The lights will be dim, the room will be warm and cozy. There is a couch for parents to relax along with a small fridge with bottled water and some light snacks. You are welcome to sit back and take a break while Jen works patiently with your baby to create some magical portraits.
Within two days of your newborn session, Jen will send your unedited proof gallery so you can make your selections. Once you've picked out your favorite newborn photos, the editing process beings. Your images will be edited to perfection and your final images will be delivered to you via online gallery within one week of your selections being made. I know you are excited about seeing your images and I don't believe in making you wait multiple weeks to get them back.

I loved working with Jen for our daughters newborn photos! Jen is not only kind, patient, and talented, but also so much fun to be around! She was the only photographer I reached out to that was confident in taking newborn photos for our 2 month old daughter!
Jen is a baby whisperer!! My biggest concern was not being able to get the cute sleepy newborn photos cause my daughter was a bit older, but wow-o-wow was I wrong! Jen is unbelievably talented and experienced working with newborns, and was able to get baby girl to fall asleep for every photo! I even implemented some of the techniques she used in the studio in my daily life to get baby girl to nap! I truly had no idea how much effort goes into getting a cute newborn photo! I was amazed when she spent ~45 minutes getting my baby to fall asleep, and patiently move my sweet girl into the froggy pose!!
We had a blast at our newborn photoshoot and couldn't recommend Jen more! We will 100% be going back to her in the future :)

This is my first time being pregnant and also experiencing a maternity photo session. I’m still in awe of my beyond gorgeous maternity photos!!!! Jen ultimately made me feel very comfortable. HIGHLY RECOMMEND - Working with Jen for our Newborn session was amazing!
