To keep newborn sessions calm, flexible, and baby-led, I book a limited number of newborn clients at a time. If you’re reaching out before baby arrives, you’ll have the option to reserve priority newborn session availability so you have plenty of session dates to choose from once baby is here.

Frequently Asked Questions
When should I book my newborn session?
Ideally before your baby arrives so I can guarantee a session for you. I only book 2 newborn due dates each week to accommodate my tiniest clients.
What age is best for newborn photos?
Most newborn sessions are photographed between 5 and 21 days old. I have extensive experience photographing older babies- up to 3 months old. This also includes babies with special medical needs as well.
What is a proof gallery and the final gallery?
You'll receive an online proof gallery within 48 hours of your session. Proofs are unedited and used for selection. You will receive the number of fully retouched images included in your package, with the option to purchase additional images. No unedited or raw files will be provided.
What if my baby is fussy or needs breaks?
That's completely normal. Sessions are baby-led with plenty of flexibility, time for feeding, soothing, and cuddles.
Can parents and siblings be included?
Yes, in the Signature and Heirloom packages. Baby Only packages are baby-only.
How long will the session take?
Most newborn with family sessions take on average about 2.5 hours, but can go as long as 4 hours. Every baby is different.
How long does it take to receive my final images?
Final edited images are delivered in 7-14 days after you've selected your favorites.
Where do newborn sessions take place?
Newborn sessions take place in my Leander studio.
Can I purchase additional images?
Yes. Additional images are available for purchase after you view your proof gallery. You can also pre-purchase discounted additional images at the time of booking.
