Newborn sessions take place in the Hello Photography studio in Cedar Park, just outside Austin, TX. Designed for comfort and safety, the studio is fully stocked with everything we need to create a luxury newborn photography experience—props, wraps, lighting, and styling details are all taken care of for you. I’ve photographed hundreds of newborns and use gentle, baby-led posing to ensure your little one is always safe, calm, and content. With over 10 years of experience as an Austin newborn photographer, I’ve been trained in safe newborn handling and posing. I’ll gently guide your baby through each setup while making sure they’re always supported and comfortable. Parent and sibling images are always welcome—just let me know what you'd like to include.
Before your session, you'll receive a short questionnaire so I can tailor the colors, props, and styling to match your vision. You’ll have access to a curated collection of wraps, headbands, bonnets, and textured layers designed to create beautiful, timeless images—no need to bring a thing.
Sessions typically last 2–4 hours and are entirely baby-led. The studio is kept warm and quiet with soft lighting and soothing music. Parents are encouraged to relax on the studio couch, enjoy a snack, and take a moment to breathe while I work patiently to capture every detail.
Within 48 hours, you’ll receive a private proof gallery to select your favorite images. From there, I hand-edit every chosen photo with care and artistry. Your final gallery will be delivered within one week—high-resolution and ready to download, print, and treasure forever.

A: Newborn sessions typically last between 2–4 hours. We follow your baby’s lead and allow plenty of time for feeding, soothing, and diaper changes. My studio is designed to be a calm, quiet space where parents can relax while I work gently and patiently with your little one.
Q: How long do newborn sessions last?
A: Yes! My full newborn package includes portraits with parents and siblings for those wanting to document the whole family. I also offer baby-only packages for those who prefer a simpler, more focused session. Either way, we’ll create a beautiful and customized experience based on what feels right for your family.
Q: Can parents and siblings be included in the session?
A: Just your baby and their food source! My Cedar Park studio is fully stocked with luxury wraps, headbands, bonnets, props, and backdrops. Everything is prepared for you so you can just show up, relax, and enjoy the experience.
Q: Do I need to bring anything to the newborn session?
A: No worries at all! While the early days are best for classic sleepy poses, I’ve photographed beautiful newborn portraits up to 12 weeks old. Every session is tailored to your baby’s needs, and I’ll adjust the posing and styling accordingly.
Q: What if my baby is older than 2 weeks?
A: The ideal time to photograph your baby is within the first 7–24 days after birth. That’s when babies are sleepiest and most naturally curled up. I recommend booking your session before your third trimester to ensure availability—I only take a limited number of newborns each month.
