I recommend booking your newborn session during pregnancy so we can reserve a flexible spot around your due date. Once baby arrives, we’ll choose the exact date based on how you’re feeling and when baby is ready—so it stays calm and stress-free.

Newborn sessions take place in my fully equipped Leander studio, and I serve families across the Austin metro area. The studio is designed for soft, flattering light and a comfortable, relaxed experience for both baby and parents.

That’s completely normal—and expected. I plan every newborn session with extra time built in, and we’ll move at your baby’s pace. My job is to create a calm environment, follow baby’s cues, and still capture beautiful, connected images.

Yes—parents and siblings are welcome. I’ll guide you into flattering, natural poses and keep the flow easy so everyone feels comfortable (even toddlers).

I’ll keep this simple. Bring:
Extra bottles/formula if you use them
A pacifier (even if baby doesn’t always take one—it can help)
Any sentimental items you’d like included (optional)
Everything else you need—wraps, props, and studio essentials—will be ready for you.

How long is a newborn session?

Most newborn sessions last 2–4 hours. Everything is baby-led, with plenty of time for feeding, soothing, diaper changes, and breaks—so you never feel rushed.

What age is best for newborn photos?

The ideal window is typically 5–21 days old, when babies are still very sleepy and naturally curl into those cozy newborn poses. If your baby is older, don’t worry—beautiful images are still absolutely possible, and I’ll guide you through a session that fits your baby’s stage.

Do you offer a baby-only wrapped session?

Yes. Newborn sessions begin at $1,050 for a baby-only wrapped session—perfect if you want something timeless, simple, and focused on your baby’s earliest details.
