Austin Baby Pictures
Meet Baby Alejandro! He was about 3 weeks old when I got to meet him for his Austin baby pictures. His beautiful family came to see me a couple of weeks ago and they were just adorable- All SEVEN of them! That’s right, little Alejandro has 4 older sisters who absolutely adore him to pieces! This was the largest family I’ve ever photographed at a newborn session and I was very thankful that I had moved into a bigger studio space so that I could accommodate more people.
We started with their family photos so I put the not-so-little guy in a gray mohair outfit. I always like to start with family photos because if the baby isn’t super sleepy when they arrive it’s a good opportunity for mom or dad to snuggle with them in the new environment and make them a little more comfortable. We did full family photos with all seven of them and then did a few with just the sisters and their new little brother. They each wanted a turn to hold him and it was so cute to watch them gently pass him around and help each other make sure he was supported well.
CHECK OUT THIS GUYS HAIR. Seriously, have you seen anything more amazing? Of course, I think bald babies are super cute but these little guys that come to me with this fabulous hair are just so rare and they look oh so handsome! Between his hair and his chubby cheeks, I was totally smitten.
To be perfectly honest, I wasn’t really sure this big love was going to fit into my little baby bed but we were able to wrap him up nice and tight and he snoozed away on this super cute baby mattress from Newborn Studio Props. And because he was snoozing so well, I was able to take the wrap off him and get him into one of my signature poses on the baby bed. He sure is cute!
Even though these two now have 5 children, it was really special for them to have a few photos of just the two of them with their new little guy. This family was SO nice and it really was so wonderful to see them all in my studio and how they interacted with one another. They were all so helpful and super sweet with each other.
