Hi, I’m Jen, an Austin maternity photographer with 11 years behind the camera. Hundreds of moms have walked into my Leander studio nervous and walked out obsessed with their photos.
My studio is about 25 minutes from downtown Austin and an easy drive from Cedar Park, Round Rock, Georgetown, and Liberty Hill. I shoot in the studio and at outdoor spots all over the Austin area.
Sessions happen between 28 and 34 weeks, when your bump is full and you still have energy.

Most studio sessions run 60 to 90 minutes. Plan another 90 minutes before that if you’re getting hair and makeup.

How booking works
- Book your session. Pick your package, sign your contract, and pay your retainer to hold your date. Have questions first? Book a free call and ask me anything.
- Plan your look. You’ll get your questionnaire and styling guide. Pick your gowns, send inspo, and tell me your comfort level.
- Hair and makeup. I book your artist.
- Session day. I tell you where to stand, where to put your hands, and when to look at each other.
- Your gallery. Proofs in 48 hours. Pick your favorites, and final images arrive in 7 to 14 days.
Frequently Asked Questions
Q: When should I book my maternity session?
A: Book between 12 and 16 weeks. Your session happens at 28 to 34 weeks, and my calendar fills 4 to 6 weeks out. Booking early gets you the date you want.
Q: Will the gowns fit me?
A: I photograph women of every size. Closet gowns fit up to a pre-pregnancy size 18, with some larger options. Want to be sure? Come try them on before your session.
Q: Do I have to show my belly?
A: Nope. You choose. Stay fully covered, show your bump, wear draped fabric, or go tasteful and nude. You tell me your comfort level in your questionnaire, and I plan around it.
Q: Do you edit stretch marks?
A: Yes. I remove stretch marks unless you ask me to keep them, and I smooth out any lumps the dress or pose creates. You still look like you, in your best light.
Q: Does my husband have to come?
A: No. If he comes, he doesn’t have to think. I tell him where to stand, where to put his hands, and when to kiss you. Most partners are in and out of frame in 15 minutes and leave surprised they had fun.
Q: Can my kids join?
A: Yes! Toddlers are welcome. Some jump into one look, others want to be in every shot. We work around naps, snacks, and moods. Stickers help, and I have a few other tricks.
Q: What if I go into labor early or end up on bed rest?
A: Your baby’s health comes first, always. If your maternity session can’t happen, you can move your retainer to your newborn session or another session within one year, or get a refund. You won’t lose a thing.
Q: Have you photographed twins, IVF, or rainbow pregnancies?
A: Yes, many times. Share as much or as little of your story as you like. Some moms want to honor their journey in their photos, and others keep it private. I’ll follow your lead.
Q: Can I order prints and albums?
A: Yes. Your gallery has its own store for prints, albums, and wall art from a professional lab, delivered to your door. I’m happy to help you choose.

A: Yes. My Leander studio serves the greater Austin area, including Cedar Park, Round Rock, Georgetown, and Liberty Hill.
