I just had the pleasure of photographing Katie and Jack’s new baby and he was the sweetest little boy! I thought I’d share some photos from their amazing maternity session over at Brushy Creek. If you’re new around here I should probably tell you now that if I’m photographing a baby belly that I’m probably going to do it in or near the water! Not only does it make for an incredible backdrop but it also helps to keep mom cool in this Austin, Texas heat!
We wrapped up their session with a few silhouette shots and I am LOVING them! It is hard to find a space just right for this look around this area but after removing a building and a few power lines (LOL)- I’m pretty happy with the result!
A few important things to note about a maternity session with Hello Photography:
-You should schedule your maternity session when you enter your second trimester to ensure that your photographer has availability. If you also want a newborn session, I will put your due date on my calendar at this time. I only book a few newborns a month to ensure I have enough space to accommodate your due date.
-My favorite time to photograph you is when you are between 32-35 weeks along. After all, your belly is the star of the show!
-I have a client closet full of dresses that you can choose from to wear for your maternity session. They come in a variety of styles, colors, and materials.
-Yes, you can bring your husband and your other children along to your session! In fact, it’s encouraged!
-I like to create artistic images. We’ll use the dress or different elements of the landscape to achieve that special, one-of-a-kind look and create some magic together!
-We can add hair and makeup to your session! Treat yo self! And don’t forget those eyelashes!
-I want you to look and feel your best. AND YOU WILL. I have tons of experience posing women of all shapes and sizes and I know how to make your curvy body look it’s best. Pregnancy is a beautiful thing and this time goes by so quickly and it should be documented for you to remember this special time. All I ask is that you trust me. 🙂
