I am a creator and I love being able to take the time to put these setups together to create some authentic Austin Newborn Photos for my clients and their families to enjoy for years to come. My clients usually tell me what colors they want to see in their photos and then I put things together based on that. Sometimes they will send me inspiration photos and sometimes there’s a theme.
For Baby Isaiah, there was a theme! His mom told me that his nursery was space-themed and she really wanted to incorporate that theme into some of his newborn photos to hang them on the walls in his nursery. Knowing what she wanted ahead of time was incredibly helpful so that I was able to find the digital backdrops and set up each pose in a way that it would make for flawless compositing during the editing process. (I’ll go into this in a later blog post)

I almost always start each session with parent photos. I like my parents to be able to sit back and relax during the majority of the session because newborn sessions are long. These guys came in nice outfits and switched out for comfy, laid back lounge clothes immediately after they were finished. Daddy Isaiah even took a nap for the remainder of the session on my couch. It is totally acceptable!
Look at how sweet these guys are! I love to keep things simple for their first family photos. Classic colors, no bold patterns or colors, and just keep a super clean look that is timeless.
I really love most of my images in the color versions but parent shots in black and white are usually the ones that blow me away. And yes, you get BOTH color AND black/white versions of all of your chosen images. It’s always nice to have options!
Ahhhh… the froggy pose. Always one of my favorites and such a great way to show off those little baby lips. And Baby Isaiah did NOT disappoint. That plump pucker is pretty impressive! And let me just say that I am a huge fan of tiny toes poking out in this pose- I am here for all the cuteness!
Sleepy little babe on a tiny bed. Could he be any cuter? Seriously, Austin newborn photos are my jam. I love on these little guys as if they were my own and I am honored when you choose me to create these first photos of your growing family.
