Newborn sessions start at $650. Most families invest between $1,050 and $1,650.
Newborns are photographed between 5 and 21 days old. That window is small. The images last a lifetime. What you're investing in is a photographer who has spent over a decade learning exactly how to keep your baby safe, comfortable, and beautifully posed, and who will take as long as your baby needs to get it right.

What's Included in Every Newborn Session?
- Experienced newborn posing guidance from 10+ years photographing newborns, plus hands-on mentoring and continuing education
- Baby-led pacing with plenty of time for feeding, soothing, and breaks
- Poses are always supported and never forced. If baby isn't comfortable, we'll move on to something different
- Access to studio wraps, textures, and simple props
- Your selected images are hand-edited to perfection and delivered in both color and black and white

Frequently Asked Questions
When should I book my newborn session?
Ideally before your baby arrives so I can guarantee a session for you. I only book 2 newborn due dates each week to accommodate my tiniest clients.
How long will the session take?
Most newborn with family sessions take on average about 2.5 hours, but can go as long as 4 hours. Every baby is different.
What age is best for newborn photos?
Most newborn sessions are photographed between 5 and 21 days old. I have extensive experience photographing older babies, up to 3 months old. This also includes babies with special medical needs as well.
Can parents and siblings be included?
Yes, in the Luxury and Signature Family packages. Baby Only packages are baby-only.
What is a proof gallery and the final gallery?
You'll receive an online proof gallery within 48 hours of your session. Proofs are unedited and used for selection. You will receive the number of fully retouched images included in your package, with the option to purchase additional images. No unedited or raw files will be provided.
What if my baby is fussy or needs breaks?
That's completely normal. Sessions are baby-led with plenty of flexibility, time for feeding, soothing, and cuddles.
Where do newborn sessions take place?
Newborn sessions take place in my Leander studio.
Can I purchase additional images?
Yes. Additional images are available for purchase after you view your proof gallery. You can also pre-purchase discounted additional images at the time of booking.
How long does it take to receive my final images?
Final edited images are delivered in 7-14 days after you've selected your favorites.
