I am so excited to share this session with you all. It’s cute and creative, and it’s a great example of all the things that can go right when you pick the right maternity photographer. When Elva and Adrian were looking for a Cedar Park Maternity Photographer, they reached out to me to discuss some of their ideas. It was a lot of fun to incorporate their ideas into a typical maternity session and allow Elva to flex her creativity with use of my client closet. I also got to do the newborn session for their little one, which I will share in a post soon to come. But for now, enjoy this beautiful couple celebrating their journey into parenthood.
Elva and Adrian were such a cute couple. They came in to the Hello Photography studio with a boatload of ideas, and I was so happy that so many of them included them both.
We took a range of different photos: formal, casual, color, and black and white to fully showcase their unique personalities. They were very down-to-earth, but they were also very clearly passionate with one another. When couples like Adrian and Elva come into my studio, I want to provide them with a well-rounded cache of memories from their time before and after their pregnancy.
I personally loved the shots we did with these two in their matching outfits of jeans and black tops, pictured above. The unbuttoned pants are a fun touch because they show how she has grown during her pregnancy, and they’re also a nod to her own personality (her own style in casual wear).
But I also loved how creative she got, both with posing ideas and utilization of the Hello Photography wardrobe. We took a lot of photos of these two together, so we wanted to make sure that they got a variety of photos. These ones below are so intimate!
Of course, it was also important to get solo portraits and maternity photos with Elva. If there’s anything I can tell you it’s that those solo photos are so empowering!
Elva made full use of the client closet for her one-on-one portraits, picking out a range of patterned gowns and simple white gowns. My personal favorite on her is the pearl-studded white gown, seen above. It just complimented her complexion so well, and she looked absolutely stunning in it!
That is not to negate how beautiful she looked in this blue floral maternity gown! This gown is a crowd-pleaser with its corset top and flowing blue train. It reminds me a lot of French royalty, and Elva certainly looked like she could come from a long line of royalty in her photos.
Heck, what am I even saying? Elva was the star of the show no matter what she was wearing, as is the case with all of my clients. Each and every woman I photograph has their own unique personality and style that makes them shine. I was so happy to have been able to have let her express herself, whether it was in a gown or in her own, comfy jeans and bra outfit. Her session just goes to show that if you let your own light shine with a smile, you’ll always be the prettiest person in the room.
Thank you, Elva and Adrian, for such a beautiful session at my Cedar Park Maternity Photographer studio.
