Austin Maternity Photo Session
I spend a lot of time wandering around in the woods trying to find the perfect locations for an Austin maternity photo session. Sometimes that means venturing off the path well-traveled and getting lost for a little while. It’s really important to me to find quiet spaces with minimal people for maternity sessions as I want the moms to be as comfortable as possible.
But sometimes, I’ll get lucky and a client will tell me about a place they’ve found that is so magical and hardly anybody knows about it. I mean, people know about it but hardly anybody ever goes there! Which is perfect for me and the quiet, peaceful, stress-free atmosphere that I am trying to provide my clients. Maternity photo sessions can be super intimate and the last thing I want is for mom to feel uncomfortable because there are 20 people walking by.
The evening light at this location is so incredible and it really takes my breath away every time I shoot here. There’s so many colors that come through those trees and it really works for any type of session.

Stefani… My goodness, she brought the heat to this session! Not only is this woman gorgeous but she is confident as hell and this session was straight fire!

I love love love when my clients choose these toss dresses to wear. When they book their photoshoot I send them a gallery of all of the available dresses that I have and my heart sings a little louder when they pick these. You can see my offerings, HERE.
There’s a lot of creativity that goes into making these composites. You see, these toss dress maternity photos are made up of several images and I carefully pick parts from different images to put together for the final photo. This allows me to be as creative as I want and sometimes I like to add some extra drama…
The above image is pretty great without the added fabric pieces but this momma was SO fierce that I had to do something dramatic for her.
